CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP
Active Life Membership :
Applicant should hold
a BDS qualification from any University in India recognized
by Dental Council of India and should produce documentary
evidence that he/she attended at least one training Course
on Oral Implantology in any System and/or has some
background in implant practice (course certificate must be
attached).
Active Annual Membership :
Requirements same as
above. Membership valid for one year only from 1st April to
31st March only irrespective of month of joining.
Associate Life Membership : It is open to Dental
Surgeons (without any training or experience in Oral
Implantology), Dental Laboratory Technicians, Physicians,
Surgeons, Research Personnel and Industrial representatives.
Associate Life Members have no voting right and cannot stand
for election.
Associate Annual Membership :
Requirements same as for Associate Life Membership.
Membership valid for one year only from 1st April to 31st
March, irrespective of month of joining. Associate Annual

Student Membership (valid
from July to June) is open to undergraduate and postgraduate
Dental Students, Residents, Dental Mechanics Students and
Dental Hygienist Students. This membership is for one year
only and can be renewed only as long as the person is a
student or Resident (a certificate from college should be
attached. Student members shall not have any voting right
and cannot stand for election)
